For actual games players, it’s a no brainer. God bless Gameloft, but playing an action game on a mobile phone touchscreen, with no tangible physical feedback, is no substitute for Uncharted. Where’s My Water? is fun, WipEout 2048 is on a different planet....Go To Full Review

Impressively powerful and astonishingly feature-packed, Playstation Vita is - at least for now - the ultimate handheld games machine. With its touch-capabilities, augmented-reality cameras and motion-sensing capabilties it’s a versatile little beast that should inspire some innovative developers, but it’s at its best playing big, immersive blockbuster games, where it brings the handheld and big-screen console gaming experiences closer than they’ve ever been before....Go To Full Review

With impressive launch titles like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, the game library shouldn’t be an issue for the Vita. The question is, are gamers still eager to purchase a $250 system and $40 games when they can easily find rewarding experiences for under $10 on their smartphones and tablets? If they don’t, it’s a sign of the times, not a knock on the Vita’s quality. ...Go To Full Review

At $249 for the WiFi-enabled version ($299 for the 3G), the Vita isn't cheap. Throw in a required memory card, that can set you back either $20 for a 4GB card or $100 for a 32GB card, and a launch game or two and you're talking a range of $300-$450 just to get up and running. Even with its high cost, the PlayStation Vita is worth it; it's a system with few flaws and big potential that anyone looking for the next big thing in handhelds will love....Go To Full Review

As much as I would love to judge the PS Vita for what it could be, I have to critique it for what it is. Right now, the PS Vita is an amazing piece of hardware with an impressive launch lineup and software that hints toward a bright future, but until Sony addresses concerns about the price, it is destined to appeal to only a niche audience....Go To Full Review

Overall, the PlayStation Vita is the most advanced portable gaming system ever made. While the price is deceiving because of a hidden cost, gamers are getting an impressively complete package right out of the gate. A healthy launch lineup is sure to provide something for every kind of gamer, and a large selection of digital downloads is available right now....Go To Full Review

If you don’t consider yourself a gamer, then the PlayStation Vita isn’t going to change your world. Buy a tablet or a smartphone and you’ll get ample gaming goodness and a device you can use for other things. If you are a gamer, however, the Vita is just about the best it gets. ...Go To Full Review

Cost aside, the Vita has all the ingredients to be a roaring success -- great hardware, great features, and great games. It feels like the high-end piece of kit that it is, and those dropping the moolah on it will enjoy a similarly high-end experience. If you can afford it, you won't regret it....Go To Full Review

If it can sort out its pricing and nail PlayStation Suite and PSN support once it hits the UK, this could raise the PS Vita above a mere gamers' machine to a true crossover media platform to justify a current price tag that's already crippled the 3DS. For now, it's just a fantastic, if pricey portable games machine, and as fantastic, pricey portable gamers, that will certainly do us....Go To Full Review

When adding the scores together the PlayStation Vita gets a score of 17/20 or 8.5/10 for those who want to compare the score to IGN or similar sites. The Vita is beautiful system with an amazing build, beautiful screen and a high quality music playing app but there are a few problems that impede the the system. If Sony manages to fix the few problems the Vita has then there is a good chance the people could experience a near perfect system....Go To Full Review

It's a case of working out if you think it's worth it. If you just want to play 99p puzzle games, by all means stick to your mobile phone or tablet. But don't be fooled into thinking that your iPod is anywhere near capable of what the Vita can offer, because it's not. Vita is one of a kind....Go To Full Review
